CR2430 battery: equivalents & specs
The CR2430 is a 3 volt lithium coin cell, 24.5 mm across and 3 mm thick, rated 270 to 300 mAh. It is a favorite for key fobs (Volvo especially), wireless sensors and remotes that want more capacity than a CR2032 without the CR2450's height.

Every code below is the exact same cell as CR2430. Any of them will fit and work identically.
Compatible replacements
- CR2450: Same diameter, 2 mm taller, about double the capacity; fits only holders built for 5 mm.
Buying and replacement notes
The CR2430 and CR2450 share their 24.5 mm diameter and are separated only by 2 mm of height, so they are chronically cross-ordered. A CR2450 will not close inside a CR2430 fob, while a CR2430 in a CR2450 holder sits loose and cuts out. The number after 24 is the height in tenths of a millimeter; match it and there is no ambiguity.
